This year, Companion Home Care proudly celebrates 22 years of dedicated service to seniors and adults with disabilities in the Roanoke Valley and surrounding communities. Since opening our doors in 2004, we have remained committed to providing compassionate, personalized care that enhances quality of life and supports families through every stage of aging and need.
Companion Home Care was founded by Michelle L. Belton, Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) and Alzheimer’s Foundation of America Certified Dementia Care Partner (DCP), who envisioned a home care provider that treated each client with dignity, respect, and heartfelt companionship.
Over the past two decades, Michelle’s leadership and passion have shaped a team of caring professionals who bring warmth, skill, and dedication to every client interaction. Companion Home Care caregivers are extensively screened and trained to support individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, hospice needs, and daily living assistance—whether at home, in assisted living, or in a hospital setting.
From our beginnings as a small, locally owned home care agency to becoming a trusted partner for families throughout Roanoke, Salem, Vinton, Lynchburg, Bedford, and more, our mission has remained the same: to provide a “better class of companions for a better quality of life.”
