“I've been a Social Worker for 27 years. I have set up services for so many patients. However, when it hit home was when my father who has multiple medical problems wanted to come home after a stay at the VA hospital for over a year.
I began my search. We tried one home care company and it was not a good fit. We tried another and there were issues with the aide assignment. Then after praying. I heard clearly, " see who is located in Salem."
I came across Companion Home Care. The owner Michelle was supportive and was proactive in getting services set up and the right aides for my father who is a Retired Officer and for my Mom.
Michelle and her staff have been cordial, professional, skilled and have gone way beyond the call of duty. Being the only daughter and the youngest sometimes roles and responsibilities for the personal care of parents are yours.
However, I have not been once concerned about the care of my parents and knowing that Companion Home Care is there. I am getting full of emotion just sharing this review from hospitalizations, MD appointments, personal care, laundry, transportation, housekeeping, being a mobilizer for my parents’ care, companionship that is like family, and affordability.
Before and now during the pandemic, I couldn't have asked for more. Companion Home Care is hands down the best Home Care Agency that services the Roanoke-Salem area.
