  • Transportation and accompanying client to medical & business appointments, shopping, etc.
  • Medication and appointment reminders
  • Wellness checks by phone
  • Encourage participation in the community with trips to senior centers, local events, church, library, social functions, farmers’ market, museums, restaurants and friends
  • Preparation of home-cooked meals according to the client's dietary needs and wishes
  • Household chores such as cleaning, organizing, laundry, bed making, pet and plant care
  • Encourage appropriate physical activities such as walks, visits to the park to feed birds and ducks, tending a flower garden, physical therapy exercises
  • Encourage mentally stimulating activities such as playing games and cards, newspapers and current events discussions, correspondence to friends and family, crafts, sewing
  • Help with filing Medicare forms, medical forms, insurance claims and applications for community resources (i.e. Meals on Wheels)
  • Many other  non-medical services tailored to help our clients maintain a healthy lifestyle at home!
