- Encourage participation in the community with trips to senior centers, local events, church, library, social functions, farmers’ market, museums, restaurants and friends
- Preparation of home-cooked meals according to the client's dietary needs and wishes
- Household chores such as bill-paying, bookkeeping, cleaning, organizing, laundry, bed making, pet and plant care
- Encourage appropriate physical activities such was walks, visits to the park to feed birds and ducks, tending a flower garden, maintaining physical therapy exercises, mall walking
- Encourage mentally stimulating activities such as playing games and cards, newspapers and current events discussions, correspondence to friends and family, crafts, sewing
- Help with filing Medicare forms, medical forms, insurance claims and applications for community resources (i.e. Meals on Wheels)
- Many other non-medical services tailored to help our clients maintain a healthy lifestyle at home!
